Kitchen sinks in Karachi, Pakistan

How to choose a kitchen sink

One wide bowl fits big pots and trays. Two bowls let you wash in one and rinse in the other. A deeper bowl holds more water and reduces splashing, which helps if you wash large pots by hand.

Brushed steel is hard-wearing and easy to keep clean, while matte black suits a dark kitchen. Karachi's humid sea air is hard on metal, so wipe a steel sink dry after use. Measure your base cabinet before buying, because the sink has to fit inside it.
